Post Race Party

The mission of Aslan Youth Ministries is to provide relationship-based programs that permanently impact the bodies, minds and spirits of disadvantaged urban children and empower them to overcome their negative environments and circumstances. Aslan's programs include one-on-one mentoring and tutoring, character development classes, recreational activities, summer camps, cultural enrichment programs, intervention services, and scholarship assistance programs for higher learning.

Schedule:

• Friday 11/6
  3:00 to 8:00 PM Race packet pick up in Pier Village.
• Saturday 11/7
  7:00 – 8:45 AM Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup
  8:55 AM Wheelchair Starts
  9:00 AM 5 Mile Race Starts (2 run waves, 1 walk wave, 1 minute apart)
  10:00 AM Post Race Party
  10:30 AM Awards (approximate time)

Awards:

To put it mildly, we love awards. This means that there will many of them and they will be much cooler than a trophy. There wil also be doorprizes and lots of goodies for all. A finisher medal will be given to every woman who finishes the race.

• Awards will go to the overall first finisher, as well as first grandmother, executive, business owner, policewaman, firewoman, and woman who has served in our military. If we get really creative we might add a few more sepcial categories, just for kicks.
• Awards to first, second, and third place winners in each of the following age groups: (16 and under), (17-19), (20-24), (25-29), (30-34), (35-39), (40-44), (45-49), (50-54), (55-59), (60-64),(65 and over).

Directions from the Garden state Parkway:

• Take the RT-36 exit- EXIT 105- toward RT-35 / EATONTOWN / LONG BRANCH. 
• Merge onto NJ-36 E. 6.0 miles
• Turn RIGHT onto OCEAN BLVD N / CR-57 S. 0.7 miles
• Turn LEFT onto LAIRD ST. 0.1 miles
• Find a parking spot!
